Role Brief Description

We’re looking for a Community Operations & Sales Associate to join our energetic team at Dream Impact! You’ll be the go-to person for our members and visitors—whether it’s welcoming guests, handling inquiries, coordinating events, or making sure our space is running at its best. This is the perfect role for someone who’s organized, people-oriented, and excited about being part of a purpose-driven community.

At Dream Impact, you’ll get to learn by doing—gaining valuable experience in community engagement, sales, operations, and event planning. If you’re a proactive, detail-oriented, and outgoing team player, we’d love to have you on board!

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of Dream Impact! As the main receptionist, you will welcome members and guests, ensuring they feel at home while representing Dream Impact’s brand values.
  • Manage first touchpoints—Handle customer inquiries via phone, in person, and through social media, providing clear and engaging introductions to our products and services.
  • Oversee daily operations—Manage facility bookings, ensuring a smooth and organized coworking experience for all members.
  • Coordinate event logistics—Support event bookings, venue setup, and AV/tech needs for community events, workshops, and private functions.
  • Support membership administration—Assist in drafting contracts and agreements while keeping internal databases updated with the latest membership information.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming space—Ensure common areas are tidy, organized, and conducive to a productive working environment.
  • Optimize coworking resources—Monitor and improve the utilization of shared amenities, ensuring efficiency and availability.
  • Handle administrative tasks—Assist with inventory management, vendor coordination, and regular reporting to support smooth operations.
  • Foster community engagement—Occasionally plan and execute networking events, workshops, and community-building initiatives to strengthen member connections.
  • Work with the management team—Identify opportunities to enhance the overall member experience and improve operational processes.

 

Experience and Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a detail-oriented and systematic approach to work.
  • Basic understanding of customer service principles and the ability to handle inquiries effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to respond to customer inquiries in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Proactive, positive, and collaborative mindset, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
  • A genuine passion for social entrepreneurship and a people-oriented approach to building relationships.
  • Demonstrates discipline, self-motivation, integrity, honesty, responsibility, strong work ethic, and empathy in all professional interactions.
  • Fluent in Cantonese (spoken and written) with strong professional writing skills.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken) with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Candidates with design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, video editing) will be highly preferred.
