Marketing and Public Relations Policy
1. Purpose
At Dream Impact, we are committed to operating with transparency, integrity, and accountability to all stakeholders we collaborate with. This statement sets out the principles that guide how we speak, publish, partner, and engage with our communities, ensuring our communications remain aligned with our values, B Corp commitments, and ethical standards.
2. Our Guiding Principles:
Truthfulness & Evidence
We communicate with honesty and precision. Every claim, statistic, and impact metric we share is accurate, evidence-based, and traceable to reliable sources. We do not use misleading claims, exaggerated achievements, or unqualified absolutes.
Transparency & Accountability
We take full ownership of what we publish. We communicate openly about our progress, successes, and ongoing challenges. All paid partnerships, sponsorships, and grant-funded collaborations are clearly disclosed. If an error occurs, we acknowledge and correct it promptly.
Respect, Inclusivity & Accessibility
We ensure our communications reflect the authentic diversity of our community without tokenism. We aim to design accessible digital content in general alignment with WCAG
guidelines and use inclusive, gender-neutral language.
Dignity & Non-Stereotyping
We depict all individuals and communities with dignity, highlighting their skills and autonomy through asset-based framing. We strictly prohibit harmful tropes, reductive stereotypes, and cultural appropriation.
Environmental Responsibility
We operate a digital-first communications strategy to minimise paper waste. Where physical materials are necessary, we use FSC-certified or recycled paper, avoid non-recyclable lamination, and source eco-friendly promotional items.
Data Privacy
We handle personal data responsibly and in full compliance with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Personal information is collected with explicit consent, stored securely, and never shared with third parties without permission.
3. Governance & Monitoring
Overall accountability for this policy rests with Dream Impact’s Co-founder and Chief Catalyst. This policy applies across all external communications, including social media, website content, email newsletters, events, printed materials, and public relations activities.
- Implementation: Our marketing principles are integrated into daily operations through internal review processes, pre-publication stakeholder checks, and standard design guidelines.
- Evaluation & Audits: Marketing practices and live materials undergo daily spot checks to maintain alignment with B Corp standards and local regulatory requirements.
4. Raising Concerns
We welcome feedback and hold ourselves accountable to our community. If you have concerns about any aspect of our marketing or public affairs activities, you can reach out directly to our team or submit feedback through our contact channels (email: info@dreamimpacthk.com).
